Introduction
SINOPEC S-AGR gas purification technology uses low temperature methanol for syngas desulfurization and decarburization.
Three process schemes are aviailable for S-AGR: full lean solution absorption process, semi lean solution absorption process, lean solution/semi lean solution circulation process and double absorption single regeneration process. The selection of acid gas removal process should be based on different plant capacity and raw gas pressure. Generally, for gas processing capacity exceeding 0.1 mil Nm3/h, semi lean solution process or lean solution /semi lean solution circulation process and double absorption single regeneration process should be chosen; for gas processing capacity below 0.1 mil Nm3/h, full lean solution absorption process is favorable; for raw syngas at different gasification pressure, the matched acid gas removal process flow is also somewhat different.
