Technical Characteristics
1. The ethanol dehydration and the ethylene alkylation takes place simultaneously in the same reactor. The alkylation reaction will provide heat for the dehydration of ethanol. The by-product reaction is depressed and the operation cost is low.
2. Benzene and ethanol is alkylated in vapor phase at high temperature and middle pressure. The vapor-phase reaction makes the reactant uniformly mixed.
3. The single transalkylation reactor design enables the transalkylation reaction sufficient between the multi-ethylbenzene and benzene, and higher ethylbenzene yield, benzene azeotrope and C9-C10 heavy aromatics are cracked under high temperature and will not accumulate in the reaction system.
4. The zeolite catalyst will guarantee the ethanol dehydration and ethylene alkylation happen simultaneously with selectivity and conversion rate equivalent to that of pure ethylene alkylation.
5. No corrosive chemicals are produced in the process. Most of the equipment is made of carbonsteel.
